For your delectation and delight, writing done right.
Do you need:

A newsletter, a brochure, a sales letter, content for a website or a blog, a speech, descriptive product copy, catalog entries, a proposal, grant writing, an annual report, a white paper, SEO news releases, an e-book, advertising, a business plan?

If so:

First, contact me at 626.755.0624. Tell me a little about yourself, your company, your project. We’ll arrange a first meeting (no charge). I will ask you a lot of questions (I'm a trained journalist), such as:

·What finished product do you need? What do you hope it will accomplish?
·What is your deadline?
· Is there graphic design involved? I am skilled at desktop publishing, InDesign, PhotoShop and Publisher. You may prefer to select your own agency or I could refer you to one.
·What is your budget?

With those thought processes begun, I will prepare a quote/contract for your review. If you like the terms, sign the document and return a copy to me. With your down payment of 25% of the fee, I will get to work exceeding your expectations. I will ask a lot more questions:
  • Who is your audience? Describe your typical customer (needs, desires, preferences, fears, pain, etc.).
  • What services do your clients/prospects most want and need?
  • How do prospects find you?
  • What are your organization's strengths? Weaknesses? Opportunities? Threats? (SWOT Analysis)
  • How do people feel after they use your services?
  • What are your customers trying to accomplish by using your products/services?
  • Who is your competition? What sets your company apart from them?
  • What unique selling proposition, one message or singular feature of your company could you use as a point of differentiation?
  • Do you have a tagline, slogan or brand statement? If not, would you like to create one?
  • What words would your target audience use to describe the key products/services/information you provide? What keywords would they use to find you online?
  • Where is your target market—local, national, online, global?
